Petal Remains

A couple weeks ago I made a speed trip up to a small town at the base of the foothills of Mussoorie with some amazing friends.  It was a story getting up there and then a rush of two days shooting for a few different places but so worth it.  It was one of those quick trips that make your creative wheel start spinning again.  It was just what I needed.

Anyway here are some photos of some ladies that work with Himalayan Tapestry.  They were  working on a new collection of dyeing fabric with flower petals and leaves.  The pieces where stunning.  I was able to get a tiny glimpse of how they do it.   An amazing little thing it is.  The ladies were such sweet, giggly women.  I didn't get much time with them but I could still see how much joy and life they all had.  I loved the little time I had up there surrounded by the beauty of India.
